The University Council advises and supports the university in important matters and promotes its profile development, efficiency, and competitiveness. Senate resolutions regarding the issuance or amendment of the Charter of the University, the overall development plan of the university, or the quality assurance system require the University Council’s approval. The council has ten members, five of which are elected members of the university and five of which (from business, economics, and public life) are appointed by the ministry. The members of the University Council are in office for five years.
